Erica Gloger provides sophisticated estate planning services to an expansive range of clients in the metropolitan area and has a wide breadth of experience working with traditional and nontraditional families and individuals of all ages from young professionals to great-grandparents, and with family business owners over multiple generations. She designs, drafts and implements estate plans to meet each client’s needs while minimizing estate, inheritance, gift and generation-skipping transfer taxes and maintaining positive family relationships. In addition, Ms. Gloger offers caring and thorough guidance on various associated matters and prepares ancillary documents for financial and health care decision-making such as Powers of Attorney and Advance Directives. She can also be called on after the death of a loved one to assist with probate and estate administration. As a complement to her estate planning practice, Ms. Gloger works closely with firm clients seeking to establish a legacy through charitable bequests, trusts and family foundations and provides assistance to nonprofit groups seeking to formalize operations and apply for tax exempt status.

Ms. Gloger received her B.A. in law and society from American University, School of Public Affairs, in 1999, cum laude. In 2003, she received her J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law of Yeshiva University. She is frequently invited to speak to religious and community groups on topics relevant to couples who cannot or chose not to marry and is a long time volunteer attorney with Whitman-Walker Health. She is originally from Columbia, Maryland, and is admitted to practice law in Maryland, the District of Columbia and New York.
